This was captured on a Sigma Foveon sensor and I liked the way colours were handled. Tonal gradation and the lack of colour bleeding were pretty obvious compared to that from bayer sensors, the latter especially when viewed at 100 percent.

We were blessed with some great moves from this and her fellow riders that I wish we had better gear with us on that day. Instead, I had to be content with manual focus. For this shot, motion blur at the shutter speed of 1/60 second wasn’t great and so had need to be enhanced in post.

This was captured in jpeg so there was little room for post processing other than a bit of highlight and shadow tweaks.
