Just Like Dalmatians

Whites tend to clip easily in a frame of mostly dark tones. But if the whites happened to occupy a better part of the image like this one, the camera might instead be fooled into underexposing. So to avoid getting the whites washed-out here, just a 1/3 stop of underexposure was apparently good enough.
