These daisies were taken against a tribal shield backdrop under the shade of a tree with the exposure biased 1-1/3 stops darker.

The sun was beating down harshly just before this but the image was quickly captured when clouds momentarily moved over the sun. Shadows were then darkened in post so that the daisies could stand out better.
Shot against a dark backdrop with 1-1/3 stops of negative exposure compensation. The deeper depth of field of the four thirds sensor here also allowed some impressions of the surrounding blooms.

This was captured with the exposure biased darker by 1-1/3 stops to keep the white petal details. And the generous depth-of-field of the smaller sensor allowed me to include the flowing foliage directing the gaze towards the daisies.
