The sky was still overcast and lighting around here wasn’t good. Although the camera had pushed up the ISO to 1000 to give a 1/320-sec shutter speed, details were still decent.

This poinsettia apparently got its name due to its rounded bracts that somehow resembled the ears of a mouse.

The exposure meter in the camera seemed to be acting up. This capture had been biased 2 stops darker but yet deliver this bright image here.

This was an attempt at photographing poinsettias from a different angle but I guess that they just didn’t look like poinsettias anymore.

Center resolution out of this Canon budget lens was excellent and I had only need to place the focal point of the image in the center.
